If atmosphere is needed this is the place. However, you will get a better meal at Taco Cabana for a fraction of the price. It was horrible and it took 90minutes to get our meal after the order was place. Realize as we were leaving the thug at the front door was the owner ie picture of himself on the wall . Not a friendly chap

Pros: nice atmosphere

Cons: bad food, bad service, way too expensive

Good first experience, great date spot

My husband took me here for a weeknight dinner date, and we were seated immediately in the fairly-vacant restaurant. There were several patrons at the bar, definitely a well-to-do crowd. I was initially disappointed because I ordered a mojito and the waiter came back 5 minutes later to tell me they had no mint, so I had to order something else. Fortunately, the margarita I ordered instead was very tasty. The salsa was great, as were our entrees: carnitas and fish tacos. Looking forward to our next visit!!!

Pros: salsa had a nice kick, tasty entrees

Cons: no mint for my mojito!

Stick a fork in it.

The shi shi Armandos of old is dead. Save for an occasionally well made margarita, this place is awful. You can get better, more authentic Mexican at Lupe's at half the price, minus the aging divorce's looking for action.

Bad Food, Very Expensive

Very bad experience. Bad food, and very expensive. The Guacamole was terrible. When I went there the place was empty and the owner Armando never greeted us even though we ordered a bottle of champagne. He is an arrogant person and thinks his above his clientele. He should learn more about how to treat a client so they go come back to his place. The decor is the only nice thing about the restaurant but the food and service are just terrible.

Great restaurant, friendly staff, food was DELICIOUS!! Must try the fish tacos!! A+++
