Clear Lake Flowers - (281) 488-3838

We had our wedding held at The White House Ranch in Friendswood TX. (That’s a whole nother review in its self). Clearlake Flowers was hired to put together 2 large flower arrangements which they did and to decorate a massive arch way outside that led down the aisle. We paid to have that covered in ivy and red roses scattered throughout it. This archway was a big reason we chose to have our wedding outdoors. It was simply amazing! We were led to believe that the entire archway would be decorated. A day before the wedding it had rained and rain was in the forecast for the day of the wedding. The day prior to the wedding I drove down to Clearlake flowers and discussed with them that we still wanted the outside decorated. We were told that at 2:30 day of the wedding if it was not raining the archway would be decorated, and if it was raining at 2:30 they would just use the ivy and roses to decorate the inside because they would not be able to hang the ivy and roses in the rain. I left Clearlake Flowers that day knowing as long as it was not raining at 2:30 the outside would be decorated as we intended and paid to be! The day of the wedding the Bridal Party had a hotel suite in Friendswood where all the girls had their hair and makeup done. It sprinkled that morning and was overcast in the afternoon, but NO RAIN. We were allowed at the Ranch at 5:00pm that afternoon, upon arrival we discovered that Clearlake flowers...without calling us decided NOT to cover the archway outside, instead use the Ivy to drape across 2 banisters and 2 fireplace mantels. The amount of ivy would have NEVER made a dent in the outside archway. We were charged to cover the archway which was not done and what was provided would have never covered it. It turned out to be a gorgeous day and we were able to get married outside...But all of our pictures have a huge bare archway that was not decorated b/c Clear Lake Flowers decided to go against our wishes and did what was easier for them!
