This is located at the Kemah boardwalk, which is generally pretty overpriced when it comes to restaurants. But I've been here several times and always found the staff to be pleasant and the food to be solid. It's more popular with tourists than locals, except during the winter. Because of the large mural paintings depicting New Orleans, and the overall NOLA theme of the restaurant, some people might be intimidated to visit, or think it morbid. On the contrary, our first visit here after the hurricane, we overheard a group of young evacuees from NOLA discussing their new lives after Katrina.
