Disgusted...... Las Palmas restaurant had become our Friday night hangout, it was a place where we went to unwind and just relax from the long week...the wait service was terrible, BUT because the margaritas were the best in the entire area we continued to go...well tonight I just have to say I was absolutely disgusted, and needless to say we will no longer be going to this restaurant and will tell everyone else...as we were sipping on margaritas and eating chips and salsa one of our friends discovers a piece of masticated gum in her salsa. Absolutely revolted we call the manager over and he completely flipped out saying that we had put the gum in the salsa because they would never take left over salsa and place it back in the bowl. Well no one accused them of that, all we were telling them was that there was masticated gum in the salsa...not once did they apologize for the inconvenience, for the fact that a group was absolutely disgusted not only by the gum but by their attitude. The manager AND the owner did not feel the need to apologize. So needless to say, this is one restaurant that I will give bad reviews to everyone that I come in contact with and will not recommend. Masticated gum is just not something I would like to discover in my food...especially one that is not mine.
