“I have 2 children attending AOS. It is an outstanding school. The academics are challenging and the administration is very receptive to parental input. The curriculum is very academic and the teachers are able to individualize for your child if your child is exceptionally advanced and needs even more challenging work. The teachers and administrators are very caring and really get to know the children. In addition to the broad scope of academics, AOS also focuses on developing well-rounded individuals who are concerned about the world around them and making it a better place. The enrichment program and the athletics also excel. We love AOS. Our children everyday come home bubbling over about the wonderful things they learned that day and how much fun they had doing it.”

The parents are extremely involved - the community feeling is strong. I think the head-of-lower-school is very condescending to parents. But the teachers are excellent, loving, and very engaged. In Houston, there is such a great choice for private schools, but we are so lucky to be at AOS.”
