“My child recently attended summer school at The Joy School. He learned more in his first week there than he did his entire last year at Kindergarten. The school provides the right balance of structure, care, and multisensory learning techniques to help children with learning difficulties overcome their challenges. He was excited to go to school each day and was extremely proud of the work he did. During the 6 week period he went from being unable to sound out words and having illegible handwriting to being able to read books of few words using good word attack skills and being able to write his news of the day with spelling assistance. The teachers found progressively more challenging work for him to steadily increase his skills while minimizing frustration. Highly recommended.”
