Turner Elementary School Reviews

My son attended Turner last year. I have never seen a school be so unorganized and uninformative. I will NEVER send my son back there because, the overall quality of the leadership is very poor and it reflects in the students.

My grandson attends this school as a pre-K student and enjoys going. My daughter likes the interactive learning techniques used as well as the bilingual approach.

My son has been at Turner every since he was in Pre-K. He hates the school. This is very upsetting when a child does not want to go to school. The majority of the teachers are very unprofessional including the principal. Half the time no one speaks. Another thing that I can not stand is the fact that the children do not have a new beginning when they are promoted to the next grade. The teachers discuss the children with each other so that the kids are able to hear them.I would not recommend anyone to bring their children to this school.

Turner has let me down this past year. My child has been a student here since kindergarden now he's going to third grade, and he does not want to come back. Some of the students are terrible and disrespectful. Im looking into transfering my child. Turner leads you to beleive that the school is excellent. My child was on the honor roll his first grade year and he was not regonized for it until this year. They try but not hard enough.

This school has been a big disappointment for my child. It may be fine for other students. However, my child's desire to go to school has dimished quite a bit. The school only has to kindergarten teachers with about 20 to 25 kids apiece so teacher-student ratio is not very appealling. One teacher has little to no control over the students, while the other runs the classroom like a strict boarding school, forgetting that the children are only 5 to 6 years old.
