J J Wessendorff Middle School Reviews

This is a very good school. My son graduated from this school and he enjoyed every minute of it. The teachers are very dedicated to the students as well as their job. If you're not a displine type person then this school just may not be for you. However, to each it own but you would be passing up a number (1) one school.

This is a terrible school. If you are looking for anything else other than test scores, like the emotional and general well-being of your child, then keep your child out of this school. It is a Title 1 school, almost 'lock down' mode, if your child is sick they will be considered truant no matter what medical proof you provide, they discourage socialization and making friends. There are no clubs or extra curricular activities. All they care about is making the test grades. That's it. I wish we'd known before we'd bought a house where we did - now we're living to regret it.

This is a good school. Very strict on dress code - which in these days can be considered by the parents a good thing - there is no sagging of the pants!

This school is a dedicated school for childrens education and has very good discipline. I use to be a student at wessendorff and I learned everything I had to know I was a good student the teachers and principals make learning a fun thing to explore and make students actually want to be in school. I am 12 and I just came out of wessendorff I am now going to lamar jr.high and I know that this school helped me to pass taks test in fun learning experience they are not strict unless it comes to discipline.
