Lamar Junior High School Reviews

The school is very diverse, the teachers are experienced, many themselves are from the area and grew up in the district themselves. Classes are small, lots of individual attention. Extracurricular activities available with space for anyone who wants to join. Small town atmosphere with newly renovated school, inside and out. The extracurricular groups are highly ranked, every year, and my son enjoys going there because his friends come from all sorts of environments, making his world bigger.

I think it is a wonderful school. It is quite diverse, just like the real world, kids can learn about education and cultures in a non-threatening envirnment. Teachers are experienced, many themselves were students at this school and had the deisre to come back to teach! Classes are small, lots of individual attention. Extracurricular activities available with space for anyone who wants to join. Small town atmosphere with newly renovated school, inside and out. State ranked teams from Debate to Football/Swimming!
